INSURANCE
It is very important to have correct insurance in place prior to heading out on the water.
As a Paddle Scotland member, you are covered for any paddling incidents up to £10,000 through liability insurance provided by Marsh Sport.
Paddle Scotland members also have exclusive rates on craft insurance provided by Noble Marine.
Liability Insurance
Public liability insurance (also called "third party insurance") provides important protection if you were to cause injury to another paddler or damage to property, including other boats, buildings, docks, signage, etc. This could occur if you were to lose control of your boat. If you do not have public liability insurance and you are involved in an accident while paddling, you could be held liable for any injury or damage you cause.

Craft Insurance
Paddle UK and Paddle Scotland have teamed up with Noble Marine to give members exclusive discounts on a range of products. Members will receive a 10% discount when insuring canoes, kayaks and paddleboards. Noble Marine also gives members the opportunity to add additional craft at any point which will give members 12.5% multiboat discount (max £150 discount per policy).
There is cover for all grades of river while competition and racing cover is automatically included. European and worldwide cover is also available upon request.
