Adventure awaits! The Scottish Women's Paddle Symposium (SWPS) is just around the corner, and while many sessions are fully booked, we still have a limited number of non-residential tickets available for a fantastic range of paddling experiences.

The Scottish Women's Paddle Symposium (SWPS) is a weekend dedicated to empowering women paddlers. Join us to put your development first, try new things, and connect with inspiring female paddlers in a supportive and friendly environment. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, there's something for everyone.


Here's a snapshot of the sessions with remaining spaces:


For the complete beginner or to try new disciplines:

  • 27. Introduction to Paddlesport (Sat and/or Sun)
  • 1. Introduction to Canoeing (Sat and/or Sun)
  • 6. Introduction to Sea Kayaking (Sat)


For all abilities and disabilities:

  • 24. All Ability - Intro to Paddlesports (2-Day)
  • 25. All Ability - Adventure Paddlesports (2-Day)


For the Sea Kayaker:

  • 6. Introduction to Sea Kayaking (Sat)
  • 7. Introductory Sea Kayak Trip (Sun)
  • 8. Introduction to Greenland Rolling Skills (2-Day)
  • 11. Advanced Sea Kayak Skills (2-Day)


For the Paddleboard Adventurer:

  • 17. SUP: Introduction to River Paddling (Sat and/or Sun)
  • 18. SUP: Intro-mediate White Water (Grade 2) (Sat and/or Sun)
  • 20. SUP: Intermediate White Water Skills (Grade 3) (Sat and/or Sun)


For a Relaxing River Experience:

  • 22. Chilled out river trip; Canoe, Kayak, SUP (Sat and/or Sun)


For the White Water Kayaker:

  • 13. Intermediate WW Kayak Skills (Grade 2 to 3) (2-Day)
  • 16. Intro-mediate Freestyle Skills (2-Day)


For Rescue Skills:

  • 26. Rolling and Rescues (Pool / Loch) (Sat and/or Sun)


Try White Water Rafting or Inflatables:

  • 23. Rafting and Inflatables White Water (Sun)

EVENT CLOSED


The non-residential ticket includes a full programme of activities from Friday through to Sunday. Including Friday evening sessions, workshops both days, a range of additional extras at the event base and use of equipment if required;

  • £210 Full ticket price 
  • £190 Paddle Scotland Members and Club Members
  • £95 for Paddle Scotland Members and Club Members aged 16-25 (or with valid Student Card)
